Do I have to be a farmer to be a member of the Paris Ag. Society?

Great Question! To many the answer may suprise you...No you do not.

The Paris Agricultural Society (PAS) though over 150 years old, is very much an organization in touch with today's reality and that means in order to operate PAS relies heavily on volunteers who are both from the farm and from the city.

We have a rich history promoting agriculture and will NEVER loose our committment to educating, promoting and participating in the agricultural way of life. Today, we see our operation as an opportunity to bring both rural and urban members of the community together where each can share the best parts of eachother's way of life.

In today's fast food, disposable world where so many of us care more about our blackberry connection than our food chain, the agricultural society is needed now more than ever and PAS is ready to play their role.

We welcome farm-folk and city-folk from every walk of life to join us as we do our part to play a vital role within our community.
